I'm from Schagen, a charming city in northern Netherlands. Born in 2000, I’m currently 23 years old and in my fourth year studying Game Development at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), where I’m working towards my Bachelor of Science.
I’m passionate and driven, with a strong enthusiasm for programming and game design. My friends describe me as funny, kind, and trustworthy—qualities I value and strive to embody. I maintain a positive outlook on life, which, while occasionally annoying, fuels my passion for video games and their intricate development process.
Outside of school, I work as a Supervisor at Kinepolis Den Helder, where I manage daily operations and ensure a smooth experience for visitors. I previously taught C# at Mediacollege Amsterdam, which was a rewarding part-time job.
In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with friends, though I’m more of a casual player—bowling and pool being particular favorites. I’m also a big fan of Marvel movies and frequently visit the cinema for new releases. Additionally, I love playing both video and board games, with "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" and "Exploding Kittens" being among my top picks.
I’m skilled in Unity and C#, and have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. While I often source art from the internet, I’m also proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Hey, my name is Joey Kossen and I live in Schagen, a small city in the northern part of the Netherlands. I was born in the year 2000 which makes me about 23 years old right now. I am studying Game Development at the HVA(Hogeschool van Amsterdam) which when I finish would allow me to get my Bachelor of Science. This is a 4 year study, currently I’m in my forth year.
I’m very energetic and driven with a huge ambition for programming and game design. My friends would describe me as funny, kind and trustworthy. Trust me, they would. I always try to have a positive outlook on everything even though it might annoy people sometimes. I have a big passion for video games, it’s very fascinating how they’re made.
When I’m not at school I am probably working, right now I work at Kinepolis Den Helder as a Supervisor. This means I get to boss people around. As a Supervisor I get to manage the day to day processes and see to it that it runs as smooth as possible as well as that the visitors have the best time they can have. I used to teach C# to the future generation of developers at Mediacollege Amsterdam which was the best part-time job one can have.
In my spare time I like to go out and play sports with my friends, I’m not really a sporty guy but I like playing sports like bowling and pooling.
