Silverfit Flow: Kangaroo Game
This was the second project I developed during my internship at Silverfit, and I had the opportunity to design it independently. The project is based on the breathing technique known as "huffen" or "huff up." Due to the unavailability of an artist, most of the artwork was sourced from another game. The Flow is designed to help individuals with breathing difficulties improve their breathing consistency and technique.
About the Game
In this game, patients use a device called the Spirotube to measure their exhaled and inhaled airflow. The Spirotube detects the flow rate, which helps determine when the patient is exhaling. This airflow is then converted into a force that makes a kangaroo jump.
Patients need to perform a huffing breath to make the kangaroo jump and collect floating coins in the air. The game is designed to be positive and encouraging, with no negative consequences for failing to complete the exercises correctly. This approach helps maintain motivation and enjoyment while practicing their breathing techniques.
